This tranquil beach is located 2kms south of Colva Beach. The village of
Benaulim is one of the largest in Salcette taluka. Legend has it that this is
the place where the arrow shot by Lord Parashurama, incarnation of Lord Vishnu,
landed. It is also holds a special place for Goan Christians as it is the birth
place of the venerable Father Joseph Vaz. It is famous for its furniture
and handicrafts. The beach is peaceful and secluded.
Approach
There are a number of buses leaving from Margao KTC bus station and the
many buses to Colva Beach also may extend services to Benaulim.
