This is an isolated beach that extends beyond the village of
Colom at the southern end of Palolem beach in the
southernmost tip of Goa in Canacona taluka. The beach beyond Colom is called
Patnem, and Rajbhag extends beyond Patnem and extends to the mouth of the
Talpona river.
A local attraction of historical significance is the Shree
Mallikarjun Temple, Canacona. It is reportedly one of Goa's oldest temples.
Approach
Via Chaudi and Palolem beach. There are frequent buses form
Margao and Karwar that travel via Chaudi. From Chaudi one can take a local
rickshaw to get to Palolem. There are also direct buses from Margao to Palolem.
